Lindsay Pope

As a long time champion for trustee interests and standards Lindsay mentors, writes and speaks on trustee best practice and legacy planning.

As a consultant, he helps professional advisory firms unlock commercial value, reduce risk and improve client outcomes in trust and private client services.

Lindsay brings over 40 years experience in the professional trustee and private client space. Having held national responsibility for trustee standards, estates, charitable trusts, high value and complex trusts with a nationwide trustee, he’s well placed to guide trustees, beneficiaries and professional advisers.

Lindsay is President of the Estate & Taxation Planning Council of New Zealand, a member of the Purposeful Planning Institute and a founding member of the Independent Trustee Alliance.

Lindsay maintains his professional skills by attending national and international conferences, webinars, seminars and training events on trusteeship and estate planning.

Over the years, Lindsay has chaired or served as a trustee board member of charitable trusts. He was appointed by the New Zealand Government to Chair the Viet Nam Veterans and Their Families Trust in June 2017.

Eddie Reeves

Eddie Reeves is principal of Reeves Strategy Group, a strategic communications consultancy that helps corporations, mid-sized growth companies and large not-for-profits execute sophisticated strategic communications, marketing, social media, public affairs and crisis communications campaigns that get real results.

Prior to establishing his independent practice, Eddie co-led the media relations practice of Public Strategies, Inc. (now Hill+Knowlton Strategies), serving as an advisor and senior strategist to major global corporations. He has advised and coached heads of corporate giants such as former AT&T Chairman and CEO Ed Whitacre and former EDS and Perot Systems founder and former CEO H. Ross Perot, helping these executives and their organizations realize multimillions in revenue gains through the use of innovative, high-ROI communications strategies. He also served as Vice President - Media Relations for Merrill Lynch, where he handled communications for the firm’s industry-leading consumer investment products, wealth management, private banking, middle-markets lending and trusts businesses.

Previously, Reeves served as press secretary and senior legislative assistant to U.S. Congressman J.J. ”Jake” Pickle, as Press Secretary to Houston Mayor Kathy Whitmire, as an award-winning columnist for the Austin American-Statesman, and as key advisor and strategist to several successful political campaigns. He has won favorable media coverage for his clients in more than 300 media outlets worldwide.

Despite his many professional responsibilities, Reeves still makes time to contribute to the community. He currently serves as a Board member of the Dallas / Ft. Worth International Airport, and served as Chairman of the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau. Eddie has also served on the boards of the Dallas Business Alliance, Parkland Health and Hospital System and the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic annual football match.
