As a consultant, he helps professional advisory firms unlock commercial value, reduce risk and improve client outcomes in trust and private client services.
Lindsay brings over 40 years experience in the professional trustee and private client space. Having held national responsibility for trustee standards, estates, charitable trusts, high value and complex trusts with a nationwide trustee, he’s well placed to guide trustees, beneficiaries and professional advisers.
Lindsay is President of the Estate & Taxation Planning Council of New Zealand, a member of the Purposeful Planning Institute and a founding member of the Independent Trustee Alliance.
Lindsay maintains his professional skills by attending national and international conferences, webinars, seminars and training events on trusteeship and estate planning.
Over the years, Lindsay has chaired or served as a trustee board member of charitable trusts. He was appointed by the New Zealand Government to Chair the Viet Nam Veterans and Their Families Trust in June 2017.
